Max Verstappen warns Red Bull and Horner: “My father with me forever”
A message that could alarm the team that made him world champion.
Max Verstappen sends a warning to Christian Horner. Tensions appear to have been sky-high at Red Bull for some time, over an incompatibility between the team principal and Jos Verstappen that is reaching unimaginable levels. On the issue has decided però to intervene the three-time world champion himself, with words that could weigh not a little on his future.
The whole thing è materialized at Silverstone, only a week after dadà Jos’s non-participation in the Legends Parade held at the Red Bull Ring, in Austria, due to Horner’s explicit will. Who, ironically, also "proposed him" to Mercedes as a possible reinforcement for the future. A solution that Max Verstappen does not seem to have appreciated, even in jest.
"In Red Bull we consider it essential to keep the group together, and so far we have succeeded. The certain thing è that my father is not going anywhere,” Verstappen sentenced in an interview with the 'Daily Mail' -. He è no longer present at every single Grand Prix I race, but we are a family. He è remained close to me on every occasion of my career, and it will be soì forever".
Verstappen however did not want to deny the fact that the climate in Red Bull is not serene. "Having around sé a friendly environment è always ideal. At the beginning of the season everyone was talking about the Horner case, the situation had gradually improved, and then è the Austria episode happened. I remain convinced that we will soon solve this one too", assured the Dutch champion.
