Mercedes one-two in Silverstone FP3
The third free practice session at Silverstone ended in the sign of Mercedes, which placed an excellent one-two in the wet. George Russell signed the fastest time of 1:37.529, just 35 thousandths ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton. In third place was Lando Norris.
In fourth place, albeit more than six tenths away, is the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz, ahead of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc. Completing the top 10 are Oscar Piastri, Sergio Perez, Nico Hulkenberg and Fernando Alonso.
