Now è official: Piotr Zielinski è a new player of Inter. It was announced by the Nerazzurri club itself through an official statement: "Piotr Zielinski è a new player of Inter. The midfielder born in 1994 has signed a contract with the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2028".

"Piotr Sebastian Zieliński was born in Zabkowice Slaskie on May 20, 1994, in a young Poland facing the future with high hopes: the same ones that marked the childhood of Piotr, a child with a strong sensibility who dreamed of playing soccer in an area where winter sports rule. A dream that begins slowly, with the guidance of dadà Boguslaw, a physical education teacher and his first coach. Little Piotr practiced from an early age, kicking with both feet to improve his left".

"The boy thus enters the youth sector of Orzeł Ząbkowice Śląskie, a team from his hometown, and then moves at the age of 13 to Zagłębie Lubin. During this period Piotr also began his path in the youth national teams: in 2010, while he was playing with the Polish under-16s in a tournament in Spain, he was noticed by Udinese, which brought him to Italy for a tryout in 2011. From that moment Piotr will no longer leave our country".

"Zieliński impresses with his talent and technique: after one year in Primavera, coach Francesco Guidolin decides to aggregate him to the Friulian first team, with which he plays 20 games in two seasons between 2012 and 2014, the year in which he is sent on loan to Empoli".

"The two years in Tuscany are full of successes and satisfactions: Zieliński finds continuity of employment and performance, becoming a pivot of Empoli, which arrives 10° in the 2015/16 Serie A".

"Piotr attracts the attentions of many big clubs: he thus moved to Napoli in the summer of 2016, where he found Maurizio Sarri, the coach who had enhanced him in his first championship at Empoli. With the partenopei he soon became one of the best midfielders in Serie A: in the Azzurri jersey he played a total of 364 games, scored 51 goals and collected 64 appearances in the Champions League".

"Zieliński became a pillar of Napoli: an ambidextrous player, gifted with great quality, skilled in shooting from the distance and capable of scoring important and spectacular goals, Piotr è one of the protagonists of the team that in 2022/23 won a historic Scudetto, a title that the partenopei had been missing for 33 years".

"The iconic player of his national team, Zieliński has racked up 93 appearances and 12 goals with Poland, also participating in three European Championships and two World Cups, a competition in which he also scored a goal in 2022 in a 2-0 victory over Saudi Arabia".

"Class, personality" and a lot of experience in the Italian league: Piotr Zieliński, the first Polish player in the history of Inter, è ready to bring all his qualities to the Nerazzurri" closes the note of the Nerazzurri club.
