Marc Marquez excited about the result of the German GP

For the first time in 27 years, a MotoGP race has è ended with two brothers on the podium: in the race won by Pecco Bagnaia, it is Marc Marquez and his brother Alex who accomplished a feat that has been missing at the statistical level since the 1997 Imola Grand Prix, when Mick Doohan imposed himself on the Aoki brothers, Nobuatsu and Takuma.

"Today è like a victory – said the eight-time world champion, to the official channels of Gresini Racing -. Getting on the podium together with Alex è something incredible that could have never happened, and instead here we are. It was a very difficult weekend that we saved with a great comeback and unexplainable’emotion".

"It will be a good vacation thanks to this 'one-two punch'. Today I felt better physically and we tried, but to fight for the victory we needed a different weekend. We are happy soì" then concluded Marc Marquez, who while still chasing his first victory since the Gp dell'Emilia Romagna in 2021, is leading a positive season riding Ducati.

These are the words of his brother Alex: "I honestly did not think I had the pace to be soì in front, our goal was the Top 7… Then in the race I felt perfectly comfortable with the bike and I pushed great. It was a great challenge with Morbidelli and then in the last part of the race I didn&#39t have enough to resist Marc. The fall of Jorge allowed me to get on the podium with my brother and è an immense joy".
