Simone Inzaghi-Inter: renewal one step away

Simone Inzaghi è one step away from renewing his contract with Inter. According to reports from Sky Sport, in fact, the Nerazzurri coach è very close to extending his agreement (expiring 2025) with an increase in his salary (currently 5.5 million euros plus bonuses).

Decisive è was the latest meeting that took place in the morning between the Nerazzurri leadership  and Tullio Tinti, agent of the coach from Piacenza: the agreement è was reached for a figure of 6.5 million euros plus bonuses per season, which will make Inzaghi the highest-paid coach in Serie A, ahead of even Antonio Conte, who earns 6 million euros plus bonuses at Napoli.

The signing is expected to take place in the next 48 hours. Inter, in fact, wants to make the renewal official before Friday, July 12, when president Beppe Marotta and Inzaghi himself will present the 2024/2025 sports season at a press conference at Inter HQ at 5 p.m.

Inzaghi will thus continue his adventure in the Nerazzurri until at least 2026, with an option for one more season. The former Lazio coach boasts 6 titles with Inter: 1 Serie A, 2 Coppa Italia and 3 Supercoppa Italiana.
