Special day for Simone Giannelli and teammates in Val di Fiemme: with three weeks to go before the Paris Olympic Games, the men’s team does team building with orienteering, life in nature and the cuisine of star chef Alessandro Gilmozzi.
Who knowsà that map and compass did not show the Azzurri volleyball team the way to the podium at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The Italian men’s national team è was the protagonist on Saturday, July 6, of a very special day that brought the Azzurri to learn about the discipline of orienteering, in Val di Fiemme, home for more than fifteen of the Italian team’s preparation rallies, thanks also to the support of the APT Fiemme e Cembra and the local associations.
The group, its strength and the care of its dynamics have always been a pillar in the preparation of team sports. This is well known by the technical director of the Italian national volleyball team, Ferdinando Fefè De Giorgi, the guide of the Italian men’s team that is preparing the’appointment of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games right in Val di Fiemme.
Three weeks before the start of the Olympic tournament, the fifteen Azzurri summoned for the collegial together with the full technical staff wanted to experience a different day, taking full advantage of the many possibilities offered by the territory of Val di Fiemme, a land of sports and champions, itself a vocation for the five circles and the next Olympic venue for Nordic skiing for the 2026 Winter Games in Milan Cortina.
