Corinthians confirms negotiations for Mario Balotelli
Corinthians executive Claudinei Alves confirms (complete with figures) the contacts, which he is personally holding, between his club and the entourage of Balotelli, who at the end of June will è be released by the Turks of Adana Demirspor. Here are his words as reported by ANSA.
“&It is true, we are negotiating, Balotelli has asked us for a two-year contract worth three million euros a year, plus a signing bonus of two million payable in installments. He wants to come to us becauseé doing so&eigrave; è he believes he can fulfill his desire to return to the Italian national team".
"To me his requests came two weeks ago,” Alves says again, “and I turned them over to President Augusto Melo and then he met with Balotelli, one of his agents and the player’s brother. Corinthians è is willing to give him a two-year contract, but on the financial part the president decides. Two intermediaries" are also dealing with the matter.
