Valtur Brindisi announced that it has signed athlete Gianmarco Arletti, an Italian outside forward of NCAA school who made his senior world debut in Serie A2 last season in Udine. The player binds to the biancoazzurra company with an agreement valid until June 30, 2025

Growing up in the youth ranks of Salus Bologna, he decided to take a new school and sports path by moving to the United States. He attends high school for two years at Holy Cross, where he becomes the team’s leader with 16.3 points and 6.5 assists average, and from 2020 to 2023 he completes three years in the NCAA at the’University of Delaware.

At the Blue Hens he graduates as CAA Conference champion in 2022 and in his final season his minutes rise to 21’ average to which he adds 5.2 points and 3 rebounds per game.

Arletti has received invitations to the Under20 & 18 national rallies, participated in 2019 in the 3×3 Under18 European qualifying stage, and played in the summer of 2021 in the FIBA European Challengers Under20, an event that ended with an average of 10 points in the five games played.
