Toprak Razgatlioglu makes a run at Donington

Toprak Razgatlioglu makes a run at Donington. The Turkish BMW rider also wins Race 2 of the British Superbike Grand Prix, after securing both Race 1 and the Superpole Race. For him è moreover, it is the second time in a row, after managing to achieve the same feat also in Misano Adriatico.

For him it was not è simply the third victory of the weekend, but a real domination. In fact, Razgatlioglu led the race from the first to the last meter, preceding Nicolò Bulega. Completing the podium was Alex Lowes, ahead of Scott Redding, Alvaro Bautista and Italians Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Locatelli. Withdrawal instead for Andrea Iannone, who was forced to surrender to arm pain when he was 11th.

In the overall Superbike standings Razgatlioglu è authoritatively first, on 241 points. That’s 41 more than first chaser Bulega, while Bautista è now at -55. Already in a week the next rainbow appointment: in Most, for the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic.
