Davide Buttiglione signs his first contract

The roster of New Basket Brindisi that will compete in the next A2 Series championship will see among its members Davide Buttiglione, a class of 2006 wing-guard who, as announced by the same biancoazzurra company, has signed a contract that will bind him to the club for the next two sports seasons.

Buttiglione è grew up in the youth sector of the Brindisi club, playing in the Under-13, Under-17 and Under-19, before two parentheses, to gain experience, first in Serie D with the Brindisi Basketball Academy (in 2022/23) and then in Serie B Interregional with Dinamo Brindisi (2023/24).

In the 2023/24 season, Buttiglione è was also recalled to the first team, complicit with the numerous absences at the level of players available to then coach Dragan Sakota. For him, he made his debut (from one minute and zero points) on November 5, 2023 against Olimpia Milano, in the match that ended 87-57 for the Red Shoes.

The 18-year-old basketball player thus becomes a permanent member of the roster that Brindisi will put at the disposal of new coach Piero Bucchi: the goal, after the bitter relegation to Serie A2, is to aim for an immediate rise to A, a category in which the biancoazzurri had played for twelve consecutive seasons.
