ATP Gstaad: Berrettini in the round of 16, Napolitano eliminated

Matteo Berrettini wins and convinces on his debut in the Gstaad ATP 250. The Roman tennis player, in fact, overcame in two sets Argentine Pedro Cachin, number 110 in the ATP ranking and defending champion, with the final score of 6-4 7-6 after one hour and forty-one minutes of play. 

Very balanced first set decided by a break obtained by Berrettini in the ninth game at the first useful opportunity. Also in the second set è the serve to dominate: the blue concedes only two break points in the fourth game but è good to save himself. It thus comes to the tie-break where Cachin&#39s double fault on 1-2 launches the Roman to victory, sealed with a winning long backhand.

Thanks to this success, Berrettini flies to the round of 16 of the 'Swiss Open Gstaad' where he will face Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan, number 142 in the world rankings, who overcame in two sets (6-3 6-2) Czech Vit Kopriva in the first round.

Nothing to do, however, for Stefano Napolitano. The Piedmontese player è had to surrender to Brazilian qualifier Gustavo Heide, number 178 in the ATP rankings, who è won in three sets with a final score of 7-6 5-7 7-6 after more than three hours of battle.
