Marc Marquez doesn’t scare Pecco Bagnaia: the message
The arrival of an emblazoned teammate at the moment does not seem to be creating too many headaches.
Pecco Bagnaia awaits Marc Marquez without too much apprehension. The Catalan will be his boxmate in the Ducati factory team starting with the 2025 MotoGP season, yet the two-time world champion is not flinching in view of a coexistence that many predict could turn into a heated rivalry. But not the Piedmontese rider.
"Marc Marquez will bring his experience to Ducati, and that will be important for the development of the bike,” Bagnaia said in an interview for 'MCN'. Honestly, the rest doesn't interest me much. I work for myself and for my team, I am fine whoever my partner is. The most important thing è that the climate in the box remains good, and I am sure it will be soì".
Bagnaia moreover predicts equal treatment for him and Marquez by Ducati. "A thousand things will always be said, and someone will do ità just for the sake of it – è Pecco’s suspicion -. We però will be on an equal footing and I love challenges like this. Especially for the fact that, as things stand, he and Jorge Martin have something less than what I usually have".
"Always aiming for the maximum è right, and so this makes it so that you can have in the same team two riders fighting for the same goal. Me meanwhile in Ducati I have already won more than Casey Stoner, who perè succeeded when it was more difficult to do so. My challenge è instead make it now, that there are eight Ducatis on the track and all ready to cross the finish line in first place", added Bagnaia.
