Matteo Berrettini blows Galan away: he’s in the quarters in Gstaad

Matteo Berrettini has an easy time in the round of 16 of the Gstaad ATP 250. The Roman tennis player, in fact, demolished in two sets the Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan, number 142 in the ATP ranking, with the final score of 6-4 6-2 after one hour and nineteen minutes of play.
Berrettini actually got off to a bad start, giving up the serve at fifteen in the opening game. Galan confirmed the lead (2-0) and went on to lead until 4-2. Here comes the azure's angry reaction, stringing four consecutive games and going on to take the first set 6-4.
In the second set, the Colombian breaks the Roman's winning streak at 1-1. Here forò Berrettini places a new stretch and goes up 4-1. Galan tried to stay in the slipstream (2-4) but the blue also brought home the last two games of the partial, closing on a 6-2 final.
Thanks to this success, Berrettini advances to the quarterfinals of the 'Swiss Open Gstaad' where he will face the winner of the challenge between Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the third seed in the draw and world number 18, and German Yannick Hanfmann, world number 111.
