Lando Norris and McLaren monopolize front row in Hungary, fourth Carlos Sainz

McLaren one-two in qualifying for the Hungarian GP

Qualifying for the Gp d'Hungary ended in the sign of McLaren, with Lando Norris taking pole position in 1:15.227 beating teammate Oscar Piastri by just 22 milliseconds. On the second row are Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz.

Third row composed entirely of future teammates in Ferrari, with Lewis Hamilton ahead of Charles Leclerc. Completing the top 10: Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda. Eliminated in Q1, however, were Sergio Perez and George Russell.
