Great Italy! Bronze for the men’s 4×100 freestyle

Great night for pool Italy: the Italian quartet composed of Alessandro Miressi, Thomas Ceccon, Paolo Conte Bonin and Manuel Frigo scored a bronze medal in the men's 4×400 freestyle at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Italy took third place with a great comeback, and è finished behind only the United States and Australia. The Azzurri finished with a time of 3’10″70 and came close to silver. For Italy è it was the third medal on the first day of the Paris 2024 Olympics, following Ganna’s silver in the cycling time trial and Luigi Samele’s bronze in the men’s individual saber.

Italy swimming dt Cesare Butini, commented on the men’s 4×100 freestyle relay’s Olympic bronze: "È a different medal from Tokyo’s silver. But the entry of 2002 Count Bonin gives us hope for the relay team in the future. Ceccon è amazing, gives us hope for tomorrow".
