That he would stay a couple of years at Leipzig was almost certain as early as last season when he was first loaned out. Interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester United have slightly shuffled the cards in Xavi Simons’ mind in recent weeks.
According to reports from L’Equipe the Dutch player is expected to be loaned back to Leipzig in the coming days by Paris Saint Germain.
The’operation has not yet been fully finalized, but the will of all parties involved is moving in this direction.
