Juventus, no bid to match for Federico Chiesa
Unless there are twists and turns, the blue will remain blue
.
He seemed destined to leave Juventus. Instead, as the weeks go by, Chiesa’s stay at Juventus becomes more and more likely. The azure, to date, has not yet received the right offer to decide to pack his bags and leave the Old Lady, a club where he has been playing for four years (32 goals in 131 games).
The deal with Roma seemed certain but, in the end, the Giallorossi chose to bet on Suolé. Even Napoli, initially very interested in the Azzurri national, seems to have defiled with Conte interested in other profiles for the role of external striker. Two tracks vanished in a short time, also because of the rather high salary Chiesa receives at Juventus (five million net per season).
At this point, proposals are awaited from England. Manchester United and Tottenham could come forward in a big way but, to date, no noteworthy offers have been received. Both English clubs have other priorities at the moment and, among them, certainly does not include Chiesa.
In light of what is happening, Chiesa may soon be taken off the market. The Azure still has one year left on his guaranteed contract with the Bianconeri. There'è to be understood if they will try to reopen the renewal talk or if Juventus will enter into the view of losing him, at zero, at the end of the season that is about to begin. Thiago Motta, however, would be very happy to have him in the squad.
