In Paris, Katie Ledecky again dominated in the pool. The American star confirmed that she is one of the best swimmers in history. Thanks to the silver medal she won in the 4×200 è she became the most successful swimmer in the history of the Games with 13 Olympic medals won, one more than Dara Torres, Jenny Thompson and Natalie Coughlin, all of whom stopped at 12.

In Olympic history, è second most decorated ever, behind the unmatched Michael Phelps (28 medals).
