MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia: harsh outburst on the contrails issue
"An incredible situation" claims Pecco Bagnaia
Pecco Bagnaia finished qualifying for the British GP by taking the second position, but more than the result (also spoiled by a problem with the sponsors'sticker above the visor of the helmet) make noise his statements on the issue related to drivers who try to get in the wake of faster drivers to try to get a better time.
"What is happening in every race weekend during qualifying è now ridiculous – the world champion commented to the microphones of 'Sky Sport' -. If we consider that here are the best drivers and we are at the top in this sport, we should be able to do things ourselves. It's an incredible situation, but as long as 'nobody says anything, nothing will happen".
Bagnaia went on to explain the problem with the helmet: "I è it went well becauseé already&eagrave; on the first run I made a great time, on the second the adhesive line of the sponsors è fell off and è got in front of my eyes. These are things that should be checked, we lost the chance&eagrave; to make a result in better and è a pity".
Bagnaia è arrived at Silverstone, after the break, as the leader of the world ranking, on the strength of four consecutive Grand Prix wins (in addition to two Sprint Races won at Mugello and Assen. In the standings he has 222 points, 10 more than Jorge Martin, who had instead dominated the very first part of the season: the challenge between the two è still definitely open.
