Genoa closes preseason by beating Monaco
Genoa’s preseason closes with a success, which next Friday will make its debut in the Coppa Italia against Reggiana in the 32nd round.
Alberto Gilardino’s Rossoblù defeated Monaco 2-1 at the CMB Training Centre in the Principality in a match with an unusual 11 a.m. time.
Genoa took the lead in the 15th minute through Messias and doubled it in the second half through Martin, while Monaco shortened it in the last minute thanks to Ilenikhena.
