One of the big targets for the attack è faded.

AC Milan soccer market: Niclas Fullkrug will not wear the Rossoneri jersey. The German striker, who was being followed by the Meneghina management regardless of the graft of Alvaro Morata, is in fact leaving Borussia Dortmund but to move to West Ham. Making the transaction official was the London club itself.

Fullkrug’s transfer to West Ham è materialized on Monday. The 1993-class striker signed a four-year contract, with the Hammers not wanting to make public the salary he will receive in the Premier League.

AC Milan had seriously evaluated his profile in order to give Paulo Fonseca a powerful, big-bodied center forward, effectively destined to take Olivier Giroud’s place (and thus compatible tactically with Morata). Having disposed of Romelu Lukaku, Roma’s Tammy Abraham and Fullkrug themselves had been considered.

Born in 1993, in his first year at Borussia Dortmund, after four seasons at Werder Bremen (49 goals in total), he scored 15 goals in 42 matches. A genuine German panzer, as was an old Rossoneri acquaintance like Oliver Bierhoff. The latter won the Scudetto in his first year at Milan, in 1999: the same will not happen with Fullkrug.
