In addition, the world number one expressed his feelings about returning to the court.

"Novak and Carlos played a very high level match, I think everyone agrees. It was a very physical match. When two of the best players in the world face each other at this time, they produce something very special, so it è was a pleasure to watch this kind of match and I think everyone really enjoyed it" debuted the South Tyrolean.

" I understand Djokovic’s reaction to the success. He has tried soì many times to get this medal and this è was his year and it was a very nice scene, to see how much this recognition means to him. The same thing applies, although at the opposite end, to what Alcaraz felt. We work for this kind of thing, success" continued the world number one.

"It's been a while since the last match I played at Wimbledon. So, let&#39s see where I can get to. I am very excited to be here and I hope to show good tennis with good mentality against every opponent I will have to face" added the blue tennis player.

"I arrived in Canada quite early to get rid of jet lag and to recover here from the'last part of my problem. Definitely the first two days were very slow days, with little training, trying to get the body used to it again. Then I resumed training hard and I feel ready to compete again" Jannik Sinner enthused.
