Two new profs for Brescia basketball

Pallacanestro Brescia announced that Lorenzo Pollini and Alessandro Tonelli have signed their first professional contracts and will be part of the First Team roster, led by coach Giuseppe Poeta ahead of the upcoming Serie A season.

An important achievement for the Società, which, thanks to targeted investments and serious planning, has included in the roster two basketball players who grew up in its youth sector.

Lorenzo Pollini, 182-cm point guard, born in Desenzano (BS) on June 13, 2006, and Alessandro Tonelli, 192-cm wing, born in Brescia on August 22, 2006, are both products of the youth sector of Pallacanestro Brescia, with which they completed the entire path of basketball training and maturation reaching the final for the national Under 17 title in 2023.

During the past season, under the orders of coach Gianpaolo Alberti, they took part in the Under 19 Eccellenza Championship, putting in a Lombardy Cup and reaching the semifinals of the IBSA Next Gen Cup, as well as the experience as protagonists, in double membership, among the seniors under the colors of CXO Ospitaletto in Serie C.
