Lecce is about to place a blow in defense. With a week to go before the start of the championship, the Giallorossi are reinforcing in the back ward with Andy Pelmard, class of 2000, owned by Clermont, a club that was relegated to Ligue 2 last season.

It was reported by è TuttoMercatoWeb, according to which the French defender will soon reach Lecce to carry out the ritual medical examinations and sign the contract that will bind him to the Salentini. The agreement for Pelmardès transfer has been found on the basis of a loan with obligation of redemption in case Lecce achieves salvation.

Last season Pelmard made 36 appearances in the Clermont shirt, between Ligue 1 and Coupe de France. The French footballer has also worn the jerseys of Nice and Basel.

Thanks to his pliability, Pelmard è can play both as a central defender and as a fullback, either on the right or left lane. In short, a valuable alternative in the chessboard of coach Gotti.
