Paris 2024 Olympics: Rossella Fiamingo and Gregorio Paltrinieri Italian flag bearers for closing ceremony
Italy's flag bearers at the Paris 2024 Olympics for the closing ceremony will be epee player Rossella Fiamingo and swimmer Gregorio Paltrinieri. This was announced by CONI through an official note published on its website.
The Italian fencer hit the gold medal together with Mara Navarria, Giulia Rizzi and Alberta Santuccio in the epee team event, while Greg, her partner also in life, won two medals in the swimming events: bronze in the 800-meter freestyle and silver in the 1500.
The Ceremony will be staged at the Stade de France from 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 11: more than 200 delegations are expected for a grand spectacle in which more than 270 artists will perform.
