Artem Dovbyk explains his choice

Artem Dovbyk gave an interview to the microphones of 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' in which he explained the reason why he decided to marry the Roma project and not that of Atletico Madrid: "It was not right for me because the relationship we had with Atletico was not the best: there were people who wanted me and others did not. I did not feel trust, unlike Roma".

"De Rossi? I like him because of his mentality, he is hungry, è ambitious, trying to improve – he added about his new coach. With him you work hard, I am sure he will make me grow more. What changes from Michel to him? Not very much, maybe something in high pressures".

"For a center forward è easier to adapt to a new coach than a midfielder or central defender. The center forward is asked to help the team and the midfielders, to protect the ball, to score goals. I did that at Girona and will do itò also at Roma" Dovbyk concluded.
