Church-Besiktas: vice president closes the door to Juventus
Federico Chiesa’s future remains in the balance. Despite a strong interest from Besiktas for the Bianconeri striker, the Turkish club has decided to change its target for the offensive department, complicit with the high demands of the Old Lady and the Azzurri player himself.
Confirming this è was the vice-president of Besiktas, Huseyin Yucel: "In recent times at Beşiktaş è Federico Chiesa has been approached and it is still going on. È it is true that we have been talking about it for about 10 days. As part of the transparent communication that we have carried out so far, I would like to point out that the player has a’salary expectation of around 9 million euros, with Juve’s request being around 15 million".
"There are currently seven clubs on his trail, but the demands are not very logical and it does not seem possible to meet them. As of today Chiesa is no longer; on Beşiktaş’s agenda: the club’s interests are much more important than the names of the players. We are aware of our shortcomings, we will work hard until the’last day of the transfer session" commented the vice president of the Turkish club.
