Juventus-Koopmeiners: crucial step forward

Juventus is moving closer to Teun Koopmeiners. As Sportitalia reports, the Bianconeri and Atalanta have met to decide on the future of the Dutch midfielder, who in recent days broke definitively with the Nerazzurri club and coach Gian Piero Gasperini. Koopmeiners is no longer training with the team and will not participate in the European Super Cup against Real Madrid.

In the summit, the tensions of the last few days were reportedly smoothed out: the Bianconeri are now closer to the coup of the summer, Cristiano Giuntoli's offer now amounts to 50 million euros plus 5 bonuses.

Thiago Motta hopes to have the player available as early as next weekend, when the Bianconeri make their league debut against Como. For Juve the arrival of Koopmeiners would be a major shakeup after a few interlocutory weeks following the arrivals of Di Gregorio, Cabal, Thuram and Douglas Luiz.
