Superbike: Razgatlioglu, total domination and historic record in Portugal
Toprak Razgatlioglu’s total triumph in Portugal. BMW’s Turkish centaur dominated the weekend of the Portugal round of Superbike, triumphing in all three races on the program. After Race 1 and Superpole, Razgatlioglu è also won Race 2, signing a new all-time record of consecutive SBK victories, an impressive 13.
In Race 2, the Turkish rider finished ahead of Nicolò Bulega, while Alvaro Bautista, reigning world champion Ducatista, finished only 19th after a mistake.
Now the standings see Razgatlioglu running away with 365 points ahead of the two Ducati riders Bulega (273) and Bautista (223).
