Andrey Rublev è returned to talk about his victory over Jannik Sinner after the match he won against Matteo Arnaldi in Montreal. The Russian tennis player made a comparison between the two matches: "It was a completely different match, with Jannik I had nothing to lose. I knew that the’only way that would offer me a chance to beat him was to play that way, and I had no other choice".
"If I wanted to win the game I was in a sense forced to play that way. With Arnaldi è it was different becauseé I had more pressure since I was the tennis player who had the most chanceé to win. It è was not as open tennis as it è was yesterday with Jannik, where we only thought about hitting".
"With Matteo I was able to dictate my terms. I was able to play more aggressively. I can say I am happy that I was able to avenge the defeat I suffered at Roland Garros", are the words in the press conference reported by Ubitennis.
