A few days before his return to the track at the Spielberg circuit in Austria, Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia, to the team official channels, revealed his intentions ahead of the upcoming weekend at the Red Bull Ring and the second part of the season.

"I am happy to return to racing in Austria. The Spielberg circuit è among the tracks I like best and in the past we have always been competitive. In general, è it is a track where Ducatis have always been very fast, so I expect many riders capable of fighting for the top positions. Our approach to the weekend will be the same as always. My goal now è try to return to the top of the overall standings alreadyà in this weekend to then try to open the gap in the Championship in the next races" these are the words of Pecco Bagnaia.

To the official Ducati channels, è also intervened his teammate Enea Bastianini, fresh winner of the British GP: "The Austrian track I è always liked and è definitely ‘friend’ of Ducati. Here in 2022 I also got my first pole position in MotoGP. At Silverstone we managed to be fast since Friday and also the qualifying è went better than in the past Grands Prix; so, I think I can start like that again here in Austria and find the same sensations that allowed me to be so competitive in England.

The feeling with the bike is there’è and we are working well so I am confident that I can do well here in Spielberg as well. Now I do not want to think about the Championship: the fight for the first position is not è yet realistic, but we will work hard to continue to be consistent and always be lì in front in the race".
