Jannik Sinner doesn’t look for alibis in Cincinnati: “I’m better.”
Jannik Sinner seeks no alibi
Cincinnati against Alex Michelsen did not è see the best Jannik Sinner but the world number 1 does not seek alibis for a performance in which there was no shortage of smears: the U.S. took advantage of it to give him a hard time.
"Physically I can definitely improve, but I was moving much better than I was a few days ago, the hip reacted really well. Alex played very solid tennis and also served very well" said the South Tyrolean.
"I tried to keep calm, especially in the focal moments of the match and so è it was a positive day. I had the feeling that the whole thing is different from the past. The field è a bit’ faster" added Sinner.
"I just point to do my best and I don’t think that much about the fact that what I did in the past or at the’beginning of the year, for sure, can give me more confidence. Things can change very quickly, so I just try to stay positive whenever I can. For sure, it ès not easy to play at the highest level for a year" concluded Jannik
