Jannik Sinner è the first finalist of the Cincinnati Masters 1000. The South Tyrolean, in fact, bent German Alexander Zverev in three sets with a score of 7-6 5-7 7-6, after a marathon of more than three hours of play and thus breaking the streak of 4 consecutive knockouts against the Teutonic.

Thanks to this success, Jannik Sinner gained the arithmetic certainty of remaining world number one after the Us Open. In the very final of the Cincinnati Masters 1000, the South Tyrolean will face American Frances Tiafoe, who beat Denmark's Holger Rune in three sets.
