The words of Max Verstappen

It could only be Max Verstappen the big star of the drivers’ press conference of the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix. The world champion, a home idol in Zandvoort, answered plenty of questions: ""Nice vacation with family and friends, but too short".

"The home Grand Prix makes me happy and I look forward to the race with optimism. It looks like there may be rain, and that’s goodì. Now there are moreù teams in the fight and I don’t come here saying I’m going to win. I want a clean weekend, we analyzed a lot of things during the break and we will see how it will go,"” explained the reigning world champion.

“If he doesn’t win; here we will turn the page and move on. Last year was different, but we are trying to improve and find a better balance starting with this race. Norris è very close, but there are so many cars close. Hard to say who might be the main rival", he added.

For Verstappen it will be Gp number 200: "I don’t see myself on track to do another 200, so  more than half; half; career è already gone. The first race won è was a dream, special. Soè as was the first world title. È it was all incredible and I will think back on it even when my career is over. 2028 è is a long way away and in my mind I am not thinking about a new contract. I want to see how things go and what the new regulations will be like. There’è time to decide".
