Arrigo Sacchi warns Milan

Speaking at the microphones of the "Gazzetta dello Sport", the former coach of the Italian national team, among the various topics discussed, dwelt on the upcoming challenge that awaits AC Milan against Fabio Pecchia’s Parma, valid for the second day of Serie A.

"These are two teams that have given me so much and to which I am deeply grateful. It will be an interesting match, because both Parma and Milan have beautiful soccer in their DNA. In the league opener, Parma made a very good impression on me against Fiorentina. It asbegan to score a lot of goals, but it dominated the field and probably deserved to win. The Milam. on the other hand, did not è seem to me brillantissim, limits were seen that must disappear" began the former coach of Atletico Madrid.

"The difference between the two teams is not in dispute. The Emilians if they can press with continuity and develop speed actions; then they could put the Rossoneri in trouble. Fonseca’s team will have to look for ball possession and high aggression to avoid getting trapped. They must not concede space and be cynical on the restart. For the Ducali it will be another exam, they will have to have the strength to repeat and I am convinced they will give Milan a hard time" continued the former sports executive.

"Parma è a team formed by young people. The focus is on freshness, on enthusiasm. They have a very offensive style of play, which tries not to let the opponent play and can rely on very talented individuals" added the former Parma.

"Pecchia è a coach with a clear plan who tries to transmit knowledge to the team. Fonseca's assembly work, on the other hand, still takes time. The goal will be to build a team that is cohesive both offensively and defensively" concluded Arrigo Sacchi.
