Nico Gonzalez: Fiorentina’s Dg freezes Juventus
After steps forward in recent days, negotiations between Fiorentina and Juventus for Nico Gonzalez’s move to the Bianconeri have reportedly come to an abrupt halt. Clarifying the Argentine's situation was the Viola general manager Alessandro Ferrari shortly before the first leg of the Conference League preliminaries against Puskas Akademia.
"8 days are missing and at the moment there are no conditions to close the operation. We really lack the basic conditions. We don't need to give it away, we are very quiet and we are waiting for the right situations to be there. We have not estimated a precise price for his disposal" these are the statements of the Dg of the Tuscans to the microphones of "Sky Sport".
Juventus, for its part, would have already reached a long-standing agreement in principle with the player on the basis of a five-year €3.6 million deal. The main obstacle would be represented by the high demand from Fiorentina, which would let the player leave for a figure around 38 million euros, while the Bianconeri would be firm at 30.
Further complicating the negotiation would be the clear stance taken by patròn Rocco Commisso, who would authorize the departure of Nico Gonzalez exclusively on an outright basis, closing to the hypothesis of a loan with right of redemption.
In addition to the Argentine, the parties would also be in talks for Arthur and Filip Kostic, who could take the reverse route in these last days of the soccer market.
