Palermo, return to the roots for Salvatore Sirigu
A great comeback, more than ten years later.
Calciomercato Palermo: Salvatore Sirigu returns to the Rosanero, and next season he will defend the posts of the team with which he wetò his debut in Serie A back in 2009-2010. Sirigu in his two seasons in Sicily collected a total of 80 appearances, even managing to make his debut in the Europa League. That experience also earned him his first call-ups and appearances with the Italian national team.
Sirigu’s palmarès include four Ligue 1 titles, two French Cups and five Super Cups and League Cups, all of which he won at PSG. His trophy cabinet also includes, però the European Championship title won at Euro 2020 with Italy, of which he was third goalkeeper behind Gigio Donnarumma and Alex Meret.
