Serie A 2024-2025: Torino-Atalanta, the probable formations

Torino and Atalanta will face off late Sunday afternoon at 6:30 p.m., in a match valid for the second day of the Serie A championship full of crossovers and meanings. Indeed, there will be no shortage of former players on the field, one of whom è even switched from one team to another during the week: Raoul Bellanova. On the other side there's forè none other than the granata captain, Duvan Zapata.

Paolo Vanoli, the Granata coach, will play against Atalanta relying on the 3-man defense that has made the Nerazzurri’s recent fortunes: at the center of the rearguard Coco, with Masina and Vojvoda arm. On the flanks Lazaro, who impressed well against Milan, and the highly anticipated Sosa. In attack Sanabria with the untouchable Zapata.

Few changes for Gian Piero Gasperini, who is not expected to throw former Bellanova into the fray from the first minute. On the lanes è in fact, the confirmation of Zappacosta and Ruggeri is almost taken for granted, as well as that of Marten De Roon in defense with Hien and Djimsiti. As in Lecce, Brescianini should act behind the forwards with Pasalic in the middle: despite the recent integrity, Lookman starts behind the Retegui-De Ketelaere tandem.

Probable Torino-Atalanta lineups:

TORINO (3-5-2): Milinkovic-Savic; Vojvoda, Coco, Masina; Lazaro, Linetty, Ricci, Ilic, Sosa; Zapata, Sanabria. All. Vanoli.

ATALANTA (3-4-2-1): Musso; De Roon, Hien, Djimsiti; Zappacosta, Ederson, Pasalic, Ruggeri; Brescianini, De Ketelaere; Retegui. All. Gasperini.
