It's official: "Atalanta BC – reads the official website of the Bergamo-based club – is pleased to announce that in the current 2024/25 season Juan Guillermo Cuadrado Bello will wear the Nerazzurri jersey. The 36-year-old Colombian right back canò boast of an enviable palmarès, in which stand out 6 Scudetti, 4 Italian Cups and 3 Italian Super Cups, but also an English Premier League and League Cup".

Arriving in Italy a good 15 years ago, and more precisely in 2009, he has to his credit something like 372 appearances in Serie A, ennobled by 43 goals and 66 assist-g goals. Udinese his first Italian team (24 appearances), then Lecce (33 appearances, 3 goals and 2 assist-gol), Fiorentina (106 appearances, 26 goals and 21 assist-gol), Juventus – in which he played from 2015 to 2023, playing a beauty of 314 games (26 goals and 65 assist-gol) – and finally Inter, with which last season he collected 12 appearances, netting two assist-gol.

In Italy he won 6 Scudetti, five of them with Juventus and one with Inter, 4 Italian Cups, all with Juventus, and 3 Italian Super Cups, the last one with Inter, the previous two with Juventus. During the 2014-2015 season the English interlude of only 6 months at Chelsea, however rewarded by winning the Premier League and the League Cup.

His numbers in European competitions are also remarkable: 59 appearances, 4 goals and 11 assist-goals in the Champions League and 21 appearances, 4 goals and 3 assist-goals in the Europa League. È was Colombia’s national team from 2010 to 2023, playing 116 games (10 goals) and twice finishing third in the Copa America (at USA 2016 and Brazil 2021).
