Dan Ndoye, first in Champions is in jeopardy
High hamstring injury for Dan Ndoye
In the match that will mark Bologna’s return to Europe’s top competition sixty-three years after its only participation in the Champions Cup, Bologna will have to do without one of the most anticipated Rossoblù players, Dan Ndoye. In fact, the Swiss player has suffered a muscle injury that will keep him out right up to the date of the first match day in the Champions League, scheduled for Sept. 17, 18 and 19, 2024.
"Dan Ndoye,” reads the related official statement released by the Rossoblù club on Wednesday, “suffered a first-degree injury of the right hamstring, with a recovery time of three weeks. The Swiss had exited at 63' of Napoli-Bologna last Sunday, leaving his place on the field to Jesper Karlsson.
As for the rest of the group under the orders of Vincenzo Italiano, it should be noted that the examinations Martin Erlic è underwent did not report any injuries, Lewis Ferguson underwent a separate training session while Oussama El Azzouzi and Nicolò Cambiaghi are not yet available: the former is undergoing therapies to return to the field as soon as possible, the latter has started a rehabilitation eprcorso from the last injury.
