MotoGP announces the return to the calendar of the Brno racetrack, famous for being one of the historic stages of the championship in the past, appreciated by fans and riders alike. The Czech Republic will return to host the highest expression of motorcycling sport from 2025. It will do so until and including 2029.

Motorcycle racing first set its wheels in Brno in 1965. More than 50 Grand Prix have been held there, which has established itself as a favorite destination for the public. The road course on which it was initially raced è was replaced, in 1987, by a permanent track that accommodated MotoGP™ until 2020, with the sole exception of 1992.  2025 will thus mark the start of a new chapter in the relationship between the circuit and the championship.

“Announcing our return to Brno makes us happy – the words of Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, owner of MotoGP rights – . It is part of our tradition and è a fantastic track on which some memorable episodes in our long history have taken place. We are really excited to return, and even more so than in the past, with a weekend enhanced by the Tissot Sprint, which will give the public in attendance a chance to enjoy the experience even more and see their heroes up close. I remember the hills around the track filled with spectators, conveying so much passion. This Grand Prix è was the best attended of the year on several occasions. We are very happy to bring MotoGP back to the Czech Republic”.
