Juventus: countdown for latest striker, Giuntoli accelerates
Finale with fireworks for the Juventus market. After the arrivals in the last days of Nico Gonzalez, Francisco ConceiƧao and Teun Koopmeiners, the Bianconeri are still on the hunt for another external striker: Cristiano Giuntoli and the Bianconeri executives are accelerating in these hours to find an agreement for Jadon Sancho, in view of the end of the summer soccer market session.
The English striker is on his way out of Manchester United and is eager to move to Turin: contacts between the two clubs are continuous but the Red Devils are still not convinced by Giuntoli’s proposal, namely the proposal of a loan without a buy-back obligation. In addition, the English will have to participate in the payment of a large part of the player’s salary (20 million euros), which is totally out of reach for the Bianconeri.
United expects raises from Juve in order to give the go-ahead for Jadon Sancho’s transfer to Turin, but in the meantime it is looking at possible other offers, with PSG and Chelsea that could move in extremis and make more advantageous proposals.
In the outgoing side, Juventus has just sold Federico Chiesa to Liverpool, and plans the departure of Arthur and Kostic before closing the market.
