Marc Marquez puts Pecco Bagnaia in his sights
The future teammate è already warned.
Marc Marquez puts Pecco Bagnaia in his sights. MotoGP will be back on track Sunday for the Aragon Grand Prix, where the two battled for victory in 2021. To prevail was the Piedmontese, who on that occasion achieved the first success of his career in the premier class. And now the one who next year will be his teammate in Ducati warns him.
"On that occasion, Bagnaia was really very good at defending himself, and he exploited his strengths,” Marquez pointed out.
He won despite not being the fastest on the track, and for that very reason he deserved it; big time. If però I could face him for victory on Sunday as well, I would sign right away. Only this time I would like to beat Pecco".
Meanwhile, Marquez is clear about the goals he would like to achieve between now and the end of the current season for the Gresini team: "I would like to continue having good weekends, feeling competitive. I am happy to feel again the adrenaline of being able to play for podiums and even wins. I have been missing that feeling for a long time, and when è like that; è like a rider relaxes".
The real dream è then win a race this year, but Marquez flies low: "I am not worried, becauseé I know that opportunities will come. It's been 1,000 days since the last time, and so I don't have the obsession of having to wax at all costs anymore. I feel strong and I know I can fight for the podium, to do even better we still lack a few things".
