Federico Chiesa in Liverpool: Arne Slot è enthusiastic

Federico Chiesa tries to relaunch himself in the Premier League after the last few bitter years at Juventus. The Juventus striker, estimated at 100 million euros only a few seasons ago, è was sold by the Turin club for just a dozen million euros, including bonuses, but in Liverpool they are sure they got it right.

Or at least that is what Reds coach Arne Slot thinks, ready to bet on the Italian:  "We have been looking in the market for someone who can help us win and improve the team, and when we find him è it is normal to be happy. One of the best things about working at Liverpool è the team culture, the fact that everyone works hard to achieve the goals: è it is essential that the first new signing has the same attitude and espouses the same culture".

"Federico does: è a player who works hard both on and off the field and combines that with scoring goals. His qualities are well known, and have been for several years, demonstrated both at the club level and with the national team. And then he has the’right age: he has talent and experience, but also the potential to be able to improve further which è one of the things we are really happy about", he said at the press conference.

On his immediate employment: "He will trainà with us today, but I don’t expect him to be summoned. If there are any injuries we might need him, but I don’t expect him to be involved, although of course it’s not è safe" yet.
