Despite having received the'ok from the medical staff in charge of MotoGp to race in the Aragon weekend, Fabio Di Giannantonio admitted at the end of Friday pre-qualifying, which saw him finish in thirteenth place, he was still not affected by the injury that had forced him to skip the Grand Prix of Austria.

"You have to be objective, it was not obvious to be able to get on track today – said the Roman centaur – I can ride, I struggle, especially when I have to raise the pace and push hard. In changes of direction I have pain, I feel limited, I am not fluid. Despite everything però I’m going strong, the pace not bad, there è però missed something on the dry lap".

"We are fighting with gritted teeth – added the rider who will also race next year in the team founded by Valentino Rossi -, we do not give up and try to recover all the energy for tomorrow. I struggled a lot, I rode perhaps with a somewhat unnatural position to make up for it and also the accumulated tension è a lot. We go back to the data, rest and return to the track tomorrow even moreù motivated".

Absence in Austria aside, Fabio Di Giannantonio is having a positive season so far, which has seen him finish nine of the ten Sunday Grands Prix in which he took part in the Top 10: the best result è the fourth place in Assen, the'only withdrawal that in Germany, at Sachsenring.
