US Open, Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini out in doubles
Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini, the sixth seeds in the seeding, are out in the second round of the Us Open women’s doubles tournament.
The Olympic champions were surprised in three sets by the pair consisting of Britain’s Harriet Dart and France’s Diane Parry. The Azzurri succumbed 7-6(3) 3-6 6-3.
In the competition still an Italian. It is Angelica Moratelli, who paired with Romanian Jaquelin Cristian advances to the third round after beating Croatian Petra Martic and U.S. Shelby Rogers 6-3 6-4.
