Juventus, Thiago Motta happy with the market and praises Daniele De Rossi

"I’m happy with the market, strong and talented players have arrived in a strong team": è this is Juventus coach Thiago Motta’s assessment of the summer trading window that ended yesterday.

"Everyone has made an effort to come here,” the coach explains, “and they are strong and intelligent: they have to put talent at the service of the team to face every single match". And on the exits: "Djalò, Kostic and Arthur are part of Juve, but the outgoing market è still open" adds the Italo-Brazilian.

Thiago Motta then presents the challenge against Roma this way: "We find a strong and determined team, the Stadium will be full and there will be a good atmosphere: we have prepared with enthusiasm, positive spirit and responsibility".

He will find again as an opponent the former national teammate Daniele De Rossi: "I know him well – explains the coach – He deals with situations as he considers right going even against different opinions and it was the case when I was handed the 10 in the national team: I am grateful and thankful to him, in a moment of difficulty; he tried to defend his teammate".

The episode Thiago Motta is referring to dates back to 2016, when controversy erupted over the awarding of the blue number 10 jersey to the current Juve coach: "Those who criticize Thiago Motta should wipe their mouths and come and dribble with him, they will understand that although he has different characteristics technically he è a master, not at all inferior to such phenomena as Baggio, Totti, Del Piero”, De Rossi said.
