Juventus, Thiago Motta expects a reaction against Udinese
The words of Thiago Motta
After two consecutive draws against Inter and Parma and six goals conceded, Juventus will try to redeem itself as early as the next league match against Udinese. Ahead of the challenge at "Bluenergy Stadium", the Bianconeri coach wanted to send a clear message to his boys during the usual pre-match press conference.
"The boys are better and today we will have the last training session before going to Udine. We have to give a great performance. We have to do better collectively, be compact in the defensive phase, help each other more, be aggressive and leave as little space as possible between the lines. We must not make them think. I expect every member of the team to do that extra something to not allow the opponent to feel comfortable on the field" began the coach of the bianconeri.
" We have to do much better to stay high in the standings, which è the important thing now. We have to go to Udine convinced and hungry to give a great performance and climb the standings. We are still at the beginning and it's clear that we have to do much better given the results of the last few games. For sure we have to improve, because in the last few outings we have created a lot of chances, but it wasn't enough to win. I expect to do better already from the challenge with Udinese" continued the former Bologna coach.
"We have to do better on all aspects of the game. We made so many mistakes in the last few games and those mistakes allowed the opponent to gain confidence. If we lose the ball we enhance the team that wants to counterattack. With Parma we were inaccurate technically, we failed to do the reattack in the right way, giving them the chance to restart and take advantage of their best features. Overall, we played a good game and deserved more than the opponent" added the former Inter midfielder.
"We have to think only about Udinese, let's improve on every aspect, not only defensively, which is not only individual but collective, and offensively. We all have to do something more and especially better, for ourselves and for the team. All of us have to do better, me first, becauseé I always put myself in the front row" Thiago Motta commented.
