World No. 1 aims to win ATP Finals

The date è of those that matter. Jannik Sinner is already training, hard, in Turin to be ready for the start of the 2024 ATP Finals. He especially cares about it; he wants to win in front of his audience. As world No. 1, he has a desire to end the season by raising the ATP Finals champion trophy in the presence of the many Italian fans who adore him.

He came close to winning last year, surrendering only in the final to Novak Djokovic (6-3, 6-3). The Serb forfeited for this edition but there is no shortage of rivals, one among them the usual Carlos Alcaraz, danger number one.

To date, Jannik Sinner è managed to win a tournament in Italy on only one occasion. It happened in 2019 when, as a wild card in the tournament, he è won the Next Gen in Milan, beating in the final Alex De Minaur who, interestingly enough, è among the eight participants in the ATP Finals starting next November 10 (group draw scheduled on Thursday).

After having to skip both the Rome Internationals and the "Italian" Davis Cup commitments, Jannik Sinner wants to rejoice in a great victory together with his incredibly supportive crowd. It shows in the affection for him in these early days in Turin. Wherever he goes, the world number one è surrounded by dreamy fans. Italy wants to enjoy, live, its champion.
