A super Kean drags Fiorentina, Roma into the abyss
Fiorentina-Verona 3-1 and Roma-Bologna 2-3
The two Sunday afternoon matches of the twelfth day of Serie A provided a surprise: Roma fell at home to Bologna (2-3) in an increasingly complicated start to the championship for the Giallorossi. Respects the prediction, however, Fiorentina that beats Verona 3-1 thanks to a wild Moise Kean, author of a hat trick.
At the Franchi, Fiorentina immediately took the lead with Kean, who, bundled in by Beltran, beat Montipò. On 18’ Verona evened the score with a terrifying right-footed shot by Serdar from 25 meters. In the second half for’ the Viola went ahead again thanks to Kean on Adli’s corner. In the final the blue striker scored his personal hat trick, signing the final 3-1.
At the Olimpico, Bologna took the lead on 24’ with a close touch by Castro on the development of a corner. In the second half Roma equalized on 63’ with a header by El Shaarawy but three minutes later the Rossoblù went back ahead with a left-footed shot by Orsolini, deflected by Angelino. At 77’ the Felsinians drop the tris with Karlsson, El Shaarawy reduces the disadvantage with 8’ to the end but it is not enough to avoid defeat.
Thanks to this victory, Fiorentina momentarily flies to the top of the standings, tied on points (25) with Napoli and Atalanta. Bologna hooks up with Milan on 18, while Roma, 12th with 13 points, and Verona, 14th with 12 points, remain stationary.
